Gaming-and-NFT-dedicated Layer-1 chain (delegated PoS). Gaming remains its dominant workload — ~69% of wallet activity historically — and studios like GetRight Games shipped new titles on WAX as recently as May 2026.

Why a gamer comes here: understand the chain a gamer lands on when a WAX title requires its wallet

What you need#

  • wallet:wax-cloud-or-anchor
  • account:wax
  • NeftyBlocks

Evidence#

  • WAX remains a live gaming-focused chain; new titles actively shipping (GetRight Games ecosystem update, May 2026) (source, official, verified 2026-09-29)
  • Gaming is the largest driver of WAX dapp activity (~68.8% of wallet interactions, Q4 2024 baseline; catalog still growing 2026) (source, registry, verified 2026-09-29)

Free account creation + near-zero fees made WAX home to accessible collect-and-earn titles (Alien Worlds lineage).
